PV550 Solar Pump Inverter for High-Lift Village Water Intake
日期:2026-10-10 浏览次数:14
In off-grid terrain where the intake sits higher than the village, a water system needs enough head and stable operation under varying light. Using a typical high off-grid hill village as an example, the PV550 solar pump inverter deploys as follows.
System composition
- PV array: main daytime power source for the pump.
- PV550 inverter: built-in MPPT tracks the array's max power point, converting DC efficiently to drive the pump.
- Deep-well / high-lift pump: lifts water to an elevated reservoir; head difference feeds the village by gravity day and night.
- Grid/diesel backup port: auto-switches when solar is insufficient to avoid water cuts.
Key capabilities
- MPPT: still lifts as much water as possible under weak light or clouds.
- PV/grid auto-switch: seamless across day/night and sun/cloud, no village water cut.
- Dry-run protection: stops when level is too low, preventing dry-well damage.
Benefit
Versus pure diesel lifting, a solar-led setup cuts long-term fuel and maintenance cost and avoids long grid extensions. Exact config (pump power, array size) depends on site head and demand.
