The renewable energy sector marks a new achievement. We are pleased to announce that the 45 Megawatt (MW) Photovoltaic (PV) Cluster Project, located in Gorgast and Manschnow in Brandenburg, Germany, has been fully completed and successfully connected to the grid.
The cluster consists of multiple PV power plants, including the 15 MW Gorgast-Railway PV plant, and the Manschnow and Gorgast-Greenhouse plants (with a combined capacity of 30 MW).
It is particularly noteworthy that the Gorgast-Greenhouse project successfully transformed a previously unused and ecologically degraded brownfield site into a productive and sustainable solar energy facility. Throughout the project's development, significant funds were invested in demolition work, unexploded ordnance clearance, as well as ecological compensation and nature conservation measures. This fully demonstrates our commitment to sustainable development and environmental responsibility.
The successful commissioning of this project highlights our dedication to the continued development of renewable energy assets in Germany. Currently, we hold a reserve of over 3 Gigawatts (GW) of PV and storage projects in Germany. This project is part of our total European portfolio of over 7 GW across Germany, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.
HBDTECH will continue its commitment to driving the energy transition. We plan to commission more large-scale PV power plants in Germany in the near future, making an ongoing contribution to Europe's clean energy goals.
